Our Vision for the Future

Our Vision for the Future :

OUR VISION:
There is no planet B. Sustainable development is a pattern of resource usage that aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for future generations to come. The term had been used by the Brundtland Commission which coined what has become the most often-quoted definition of sustainable development as development that “meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. It is usually noted that this requires the reconciliation of environmental, social and economic demands – which are the “three pillars” of sustainability. Hence for development to be sustainable the community and its future must be kept in mind. Our quest for the future involves reclamation of infertile lands and to improve crop quality through organic and eco-friendly measures. Organic farming is the only way to reclaim our future and plant a seed of hope for our future generations to thrive. We also seek to increase awareness on organic farming to make it an everyday farm practice.

Food crisis is one of the biggest concerns of today’s day and age. Recent international crisis has made it all too evident that this century’s biggest challenge would be to feed a growing population. We envision marketing our produce in packaged format and involving ourselves in high quality seed preservation and its sustainable marketing to play our part in ensuring food security. We commit ourselves to this social responsibility as a company oriented towards the farmer. Our biggest advantage to that fact is that the farmer can have a direct linkage and is not alienated from his produce. Hence the farmer can market his own produce in a sustainable manner. We have the ambition to evolve new food processing and production facilities and update our agricultural practice through modern infrastructure to increase productivity and create a consumer – farmer linkage.

We dream of a sustainable future and with support it may be a dream which is attainable in the forthcoming years.
